lyrics

These fields are sown with blood and bone -
Our past caves to the sky.
On the stone there's writ alone
To set what wasn't mine
To fly.

Tilling now, mud takes the plow
As the owner takes the share
Of all the worth, the death and the birth,
What's borne and what's to bear -
Never there.

When you dream an undreamt thing
Does it speak as this stone?
Through your hands, its traces ring:
Nothing ages, only grows.

The river’s blue had shown in you
The green's move to changing.
Mountains call through borders and walls
That we can only name them,
Not tame them.

The summer’s spell turns stones to bells
As the winter starts to flee.
When the sun fell, I saw its tell:
What was again shall be -
We are free.

So take all your secrets and lies
And bury them in the ground.
With every footstep, they glide -
Truth travels faster than sound.
